Lemon Quartz is a trade name for an enhanced yellow variety of Quartz. It is also popularly referred as “Oro Verde”, and is often confused with Citrine due to the high resemblance. Generally, for Quartz to be treated as Citrine, it must naturally obtain the color or can be enhanced only by using heat treatment. Lemon Quartz, typically displays a lemon-yellow color, along with greenish hue. Citrine, on the other hand, embodies a heavier orange tone. The color is often associated with clarity, communication, and happiness. It is also believed that the Lemon Quartz brings balance and positivity in life.
